Changing the mouse cursor size [SOLVED]

Could someone (using gnome) please check out the whiteglass theme, and see if they have similar problems?
And if not, what configs are you using / what did you do to make it work?

I didn't have a .gtkrc-2.0, so I created one with your suggestion, and it worked!

Thanks. I have been trying to do this for over a year now, too...

My ~/.gtkrc-2.0 specifically warns not to change anything inside of it, since this file is auto-generated. However, it includes a file located at ~/.gtkrc.mine which I created then added the line:
