Is there any way to modify dcgui so that it treats to be dc++?
I want to do this because some hubs disconnect me and say "we don't allow neo-modus directconnect here download dc++..." _________________ Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the

according to the dctc changelog it's now possible to add a dc++ tag to your description:
Quote: | - Version 0.85.2
...
- new flag added: -m . If this option is set, DCTC will automatically append a
dc++ like tag to your description. |
I don't know if dc-gui-0.73 support it but I guess it does. Unfortunately neither dctc-0.85.2 or dc-gui-0.73 are available in portage. Does someone know if this dc++ tagging work? It might be worth upgrading dc-gui despite of all the gnome dependencies if it does

just checked the dc_gui changelog and it seems to support this new feature:
Quote: | version 0.73
...
- add support of the new DCTC tag flag. |
