|
|
I have an AT7 and am using ac-sources.
When I first boot into gentoo, the network works fine, but then, after a short while, everything becomes unreachable. I killed dhcpcd and brought down and back uo eth0. After I bring it back up, I run dhcpcd with the debug option and it shows nothing but my mac id.
I have added bzImage acpi=off to lilo because I have read of problems with my nic (8139) and acpi.
Thanks for your help. _________________ I had a clever sig, I promise... |

I've found that pci=noacpi is sufficient for my system, so that I can still use other ACPI features, but ymmv. Are you using the 8139too driver? I had the "network dies after a while" issue with the rtl8139 driver, but the 8139too driver seems to work fine for me. |
