internet connection LOST after a few minutes

I am sorry if this problem has allready been posted but I dont have enogh time to search with my porblem. I get on the internet and it will work just fine I can emerge and all that just fine but after a few minutes the internet will die. What do I need to fix so this stops hapening? :?:

im hooked up to a DSL modem my wireing seems to be fine... I dont think the prot
is damaged ither

Check the modem and/or router for time of lease. Either can time you out. Particularly the modem, as ISPs don't like having you perpetually connected. Your ISP could also be having line troubles.
It could also be a problem with your dhcp settings.
