I use Gnome 2.12.2 (last stable) and in logoff dialog is not Hibernate (Suspend) selection. How to setup it? I was searching web and I only found hibernate-script... Please help. Thanks. |

if you emerge hibernate-scripts you can then run hibernate from the comamnd line
without them you can still
# echo -n "disk" > /sys/power/state
and if you want a GUI method, use the gnome power manager (from an overlay) or makea custom launch launch a hibernate command |

Thanks. With hibernate-scripts I must have suspend2 patched kernel? |

its in portage
emerge suspend2-sources
then go in makemenu and turn it on |

searching for the same.. ubuntu has a hibernate option in the gnome logout dialog.. i figure, they didnt hack gnome for that, did they? |
