Ello all,
I've been trying to get BIND to connect use my OpenLDAP server. I made sure BIND was using the ldap flag but when I started bind I got the error "unsupported database type 'ldap'" I tried also adding the dlz flag and that didn't help. Also tried the current stable and unstable versions of the package. Any clue on why this is happening?
Packages:
net-dns/bind-9.3.2_beta2-r2 +berkdb +dlz -doc -idn -ipv6 +ldap -mysql -odbc -postgres (-selinux) +ssl -threads
net-nds/openldap-2.2.28 +berkdb +crypt -debug +gdbm -ipv6 -kerberos -minimal -odbc +perl +readline +samba -sasl -slp +ssl +tcpd _________________ Pardon my driving... I'm reloading. |
