Where did I screw up?
edit: the password isn't the same as the system's root password, is that ok? _________________ It isn't enough to win - everyone else must lose, and you also have to rub it in their face (maybe chop off an arm too for good measure).

Did you set the password after installing mysql with Code: | mysqladmin password <new password> | ? |

urgh Doing it now
edit: no go. mysqladmin prints the same error message as any other mysql command. Is there a way to reset the password, delete it? _________________ It isn't enough to win - everyone else must lose, and you also have to rub it in their face (maybe chop off an arm too for good measure).
