mam kernela 2.6.12 (gentoo-sources) i sciagnalem zrodla 2.6.14. I denerwuje mnie jedna rzecz gdy chce to zainstalowac genkernelem, on pobiera config starego jadra. Co zrobic zeby na nowo szukal ustawien, a nie korzystal ze starego configa??

oczywiscie w katalogu /usr/src/linux ,zrob ustawienia ,zapisz config i nastepnie uzyj genkernela tak jak robiles to wczesniej. Mozliwe tez (i bardziej prawdopodobne) ,ze po prostu symlink wskazuje ci starego kernela.

niestety wskazuje na nowego kernela 
EDIT:
gdy daje np genkernel --menuconfig all dostaje cos takiego

Nie wiem jak zmusic genkernel zeby nie korzystal z tego configa
arsen_edit: połączone 2 posty, na drugi raz proszę edytować poprzedni a nie pisać jeden pod drugim.

| ostatno jak kompilowalem jajko poprostu podmienilem konfig. moze malo eleganckie ale przynajmniej dziala ;] |

tak troche po sprawie, genkernel pobiera configi z /etc/kernels/ wiec tam chyba miales cos nie tak  |
