Hello, I installed OpenVPN the other day just to see what i could do with it and if it solved a something I wanted to do with my laptop. So far so good but I noticed something od on phpsysinfo. I know its ok for a few errors and drops but this is scaring me a little:
Code: | Device Received Sent Err/Drop
lo 2.37 MB 2.37 MB 0/0
eth0 995.04 MB 3.91 GB 4/0
tap0 10.92 MB 146.58 MB 0/17092
br0 914.24 MB 21.35 MB 0/0
sit0 0.00 KB 0.00 KB 0/0 |
The system has only been up for 4 days and the tap divice has over 17000 drops. What does that mean? and is there a way to fix it?
P.S. A second thing is what is sit0? I have no idea... |

OpenVPN would generally use UDP left to its own devices. This makes the concept of a drop rather alien. |
