I have the Windows version, I'd take a guess that I can't use it to install the Linux version though can I? _________________ Gentoo HP ProBook 6540b |

You should be able to. If the installer isn't on the same disc, you could try checking their site for the linux installer which basicly will just copy the files from that disc to the right places. |

IIRC the Linux client is produced by the same company who make the rest of the game, unlike some games where the Linux client is made by a porting house (eg Loki... rest in peace old friend). So yeah your CD should be of some use. |

RWS are a team of [enter some vulgar words here] because it seems that you must buy the game again. Windows version is useless for Linux users. |

I doubt that. Most companies release all discs with the game data + the windows executable, and then release a linux executable that you're somehow expected to combine with the game data from the CD, sometimes they'll ship an installer, sometimes you have to copy the files yourself. Selling a separate linux version would be a stupid move profit-wise. |

AFAIK there is no installer for Postal2 - According to http://www.gopostal.com/store/ the Linux and Windows versions are sold seperatly. But I think 20$ is a reasonable price. _________________ I can't breathe. |
