I just upgraded nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx to 1.0-8174 and my fonts in X are too small now. 10 pt font looks like 6 pt... I use twinview with dual 21in CRTs each at 1280x1024 but most of the time I use it in single monitor configuration @ 1280x1024 because the second monitor overheats if I leave it on for a long time.

I did not have this problem with 1.0-7676*.

I am running kde3.5 as my desktop manager and xorg-x11-6.8.2-r6.

I did notice one thing in Kinfocenter for Xorg in single monitor config (not sure how to copy this info so I have to type...):

Dimensions 1280x1024 Pixel (867x347mm)
Resolution 37 x 75 dpi

Any ideas, I know I can go into control center and change make all my fonts bigger but I am not sure this is the correct solution.

Well I had problems manually setting a dpi until I turned off twinview after that the dpi setting worked.

Code:
Section "Device"
    Identifier  "NV-GF2-1"
    Driver      "nvidia"
    Option      "TwinView" "FALSE"
    Option      "MetaModes" "1280x1024,NULL; 1280x1024,1280x1024; 1024x768,NULL; 1024x768,1024x768;800x600,NULL"
    Option      "HorizSync" "31.5 - 82.0"
    Option      "VertRefresh" "50-100"
    Option      "TwinViewOrientation" "CRT-1 Rightof CRT-0"
    Option      "UseEdidDpi" "FALSE"
    Option      "DPI" "85 x 85"
EndSection
