Hi,
I'm currently installing Gentoo on my Powerbook 1.67Ghz (15") Superdrive and am experiencing some problems....
I first resized the osx hfs+ partition, this worked, and I installed Gentoo on /dev/hda6 (swap: /dev/hda5, bootstrap: /dev/hda4, osx: /dev/hda3).
Everything works, except for the installation of the bootloader, this gives me this error:

mkofboot: Uable to find OpenFirmware path for boot=/dev/hda4
mkofboot: Please add ofboot=<path> where <path> is the OpenFirmware path to /dev/hda4 to /etc/yaboot.conf
mkofboot: Finding OpenFirmware device path to /dev/hda3
ofpath: Unable to determine sysfs mountpoint
mkofboot: Uable to determine OpenFirmware path for macosx=/dev/hda3
mkofboot: Try specifying the real OpenFirmware path for macosx=/dev/hda3 in /etc/yaboot.conf

hi!
first, bootsrap has to be on hda2, secound .. add ofboot=.... like it is in the messege. to know what, type ofpath /dev/where_u_need on live and retype it in chroot. it should work. ... it is funny  i am trying to install gentoo on my ibook for two or more months and i still have some problems (but there is progress .. i have kernel panic ) and i am giving an advice  D
