PC freeze

Hi.The last days on kororaa and gentoo installations if i leave my pc working all day the screen freezes for a while after moving the mouse and after some minutes it works faster but my mouse is not moving normal,it moves only from left to right or up to down.I dont know if its a kernel problem or xorg but i hear a sound from the pc like its getting back to work after sleep and a tik.On windows i dont have this problem.i dont know what to tell you to help more.What do u think it is the problem?
