Quando avvio dal cd minimal 2005-r1 sul portatile (dell Latitude LS) la risoluzione è troppo grande e non riesco a visualizzare l'ultima riga, dove dovrei scrivere i comandi, c'è qualche opzione da dare al boot per modificare la risoluzione?

Hai provato a scrivere:
e premere invio al prompt del LiveCD. In questo modo dovresti usare un kernel senza supporto al framebuffer.

| si così funziona però non so perchè ma durante il booting non ho più la possibilità di impostare il tipo di tastiera, infatti ora sto lavorando in americana |
