I have just recently updated to dbus 0.50 and banshee has ceased to work.
I have recompiled mono, dbus, and banshee to make sure everything is in sync and this is what I get:

looks like your dbus isn't working... try restart the service and recompile hal.

I have restarted dbus and recompiled hal and restarted them both again. I'm still getting the same error.
