I just updated portage to the new version, and now when I try to emerge -upD world, I get warnings about my world file. It tells me to run emaint --check world, which I do. The output is thus:

Code:
(root) emaint --check world
Checking world for problems

'x11-misc/transset' has no ebuilds available
'x11-terms/mrxvt' has no ebuilds available
'net-p2p/nicotine' has no ebuilds available
'media-video/lxdvdrip' has no ebuilds available
'x11-themes/gtk-chtheme' has no ebuilds available
'net-print/hplip' has no ebuilds available
'games-emulation/psemu-peopsspu' has no ebuilds available
'x11-plugins/guifications' has no ebuilds available
'games-emulation/psemu-cdr' has no ebuilds available
'media-video/mplayer-bin' has no ebuilds available
'media-video/ogmrip' has no ebuilds available

Finished

I can't imagine that transset, mrxvt, nicotine, etc have disappeared off the face of the earth, but a sync didn't bring them back. I have no idea what to do with this output, but it scares me.

Here's my emerge --info:

You can check the situation of those packages here. I believe all those packages were in "stable" when you installed them, but now they all are in "testing". Just fix the problem with "emaint --fix world[/url]".
