Hi,
ich hab ein paar Probleme mit meinem Samba. Ich krieg einfach keine Verbindung von meinem win98 Rechner zu meinem Server. Könntet ihr mir sagen wie ich meine smb.conf verändern muss damits klappt? Der Zugriff unter lo ist kein Problem da findet er die freigegebenen Laufwerke. |

Windows 98 bekommt überhaupt keine Authentifizierung hin.
security=user
Zumindest ist es hier bei mir so, ich habe mich damit aber noch nicht näher beschäftigt.

Nee hat auch net gefunkt 
Meine smb.conf zur Info:
[global]
workgroup = SERVICE
netbios name = SERVER
security = user
[share1]
comment = Wechselplatte
path = /databox
force user = simon
force group = users
read only = no
guests ok = yes
