I currently use rhythmbox as my music player, and as you all know, it doesn't have a graphical equalizer. Is there a program that can do this for me? Or a way of equalizing my sound? |

The built in equalizer for xmms can equalize mp3's, and xmms-eq lets you equalize everything else. _________________ suicide starts with "su"

I'm aware, but I use rhythmbox, not XMMS. |

This may be total bunk, but, I believe rhythmbox uses gstreamer as a backend to play the audio, and therefore you have to set the equaliser up in the gstreamer settings.
There are also nice plugins for a gstreamer equaliser from memory.
Now if anyone could explain why my equaliser settings in mplayer give out awfully sampled static level sound, I'd be happy, seems I can get all the others to work except my preferred mplayer... |
