Hello!

When can we expect KDE 3.5 finally in the stable tree? I mean it is some time since it is released and stable. Why can I not emerge it on an x86 system? I really would not like to switch to ~x86.

You could just unmask kde and keep using stable for all other packages.

This must come up after every release of KDE and Gnome and <insert popular program here>. Programs are only marked stable after they've passed extensive testing under many different architectures and scenarios. 3.5 may be stable for you and I, but not for everyone... As I recall, kde-3.4 never went stable, 3.4.1 did however. So don't expect it to be anytime soon.
