ATI and Xorg HELP

is there any tutorials on getting xorg working with a ATI Radeon X1300XL 512mb pci express video card? the xorgconfig dont have it and the video memory only goes to 256.
i cant get xorg to start without setting my video

it shows x800 cards but i need x1300xl 512mb pci-e. in the settings for xorgconfig it only goes to 256mb video

anyone know? its frustrating that i have all this stuff installed and cant enjoy any of it.
