Various input methods

Hi everyone.

I am looking for a (simple) description of the inputs methods you use to type in chinese.

I have emerged scim-chinese, and I use the Pinyin Input for simplified chinese. The problem is that I have to select each character one after the other, I cannot type a whole sentence and go back to the wrong characters Is there any input method that allows the input of a whole sentence and then adjust each character ?

I am using scim-uim as I also need to input japanese (using anthy).

There is an beta phone input method Chewing / 新酷音. An ebuild for scim is maintained by the Gentoo Taiwan Ebuilds Project
