|
while mounting a cdrom the system crashed completly and i had to reset the pc.
while booting it gives an error that the mount command failed: 'no finql newline at the end of fstab'
and then im dropped in a shell.
I first checked for /etc/fstab , which was empty.
i tried copying my backup in but the system returned / was mounted readonly.
the command mount however tells me that / is mounted rw
i tried to manually mount / with mount /dev/hdb7 / but "special device hdb7 does not exists"
the strange thing is i can read files in my / ...
during boot i also get a few XFS messages:
warning: recovery of XFS filesystem needed
rw acces will be restored when mounted
started recovery
ended recovery
VFS: root will be mounted read-only
(or something like that)
i tried to run fshk.xfs but that doesnt seem to work ( i get no output it just returns to the command line) fsck without .xfs works, but it doesnt recognize the the xfs filesystem..
what should i do now? |
