I had it working at one time but I forgot how I did it. If I put a Floppy/CDROM in my Drive I want that LinuX mounts automatically. I had it working at one time but I forgot it. _________________ cya |

I've never wanted it to automount...
What I do is add the user option to /etc/fstab and then set it up as a drive in gkrellm, and that way I have a nice clikey button to hit when I want to mount/umount - as well as size/free display plus all the other good stuff gkrellm gives you. _________________ ---

How do you set gkrellm up to do that? _________________ Postcount ++ |

Of course, you did search the archives before posting this, right?

I'm not at my Linux box right now, but if you right click on gkrellm and go to the configuration options, you will see it under "file systems" - just add your mount points, tell it the mount and umount commands to use (I use eject for cd/zip drive, umount for floppy), and that should be it. _________________ ---

I played around with gkrellm yesterday and it works fine but the buttons are too small.... I will stick with the old style =) _________________ cya |
