Just for giggles, I thought I would unmask it and see what happens. I was expecting the worst, but much to my surprise, it built without blowing up, or doing much of anything unusual. My Radeon 9200 even works without wedging the whole system when it starts. I'll go out on a limb, but I think it needs to be ~alpha keyworded. Also, it doesn't appear to need the linux-headers fix that 6.8.2-r4 needs. Anyone else care to test?
Since its not ~alpha keyworded, I used the following to install it
Code: | USE="dri" ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge xorg-x11 |
