I know that I can create RAID arrays just fine, but I'm having trouble finding any guides on how to restore my data from a software RAID 5 array. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated. |

Restore after reboot? Or are you refering to fixing a broken raid partition? |

Replace the failed disk
Partition the new disk so that its partitions match the old disk
Use raidhotadd /dev/mdX /dev/sdX to add this new disk to the array
You can monitor /proc/mdstat for progress results. An (F) next to a device means that it has failed. |
