AGPVertexRAM and Cedega performance

Recently (I believe since Nvidia display driver 8174), I've been getting this error whilst playing games, and the performance is basically terrible:

Detected usage of mixed accel and non-accel VBs, disabling acceleration
(You may want to increase the "AGPVertexRam" setting to avoid this)

Upgrading to 8178 hasn't help either. It looks like it can't use enough AGP Aperture for some reason.

Anyone else been getting this problem, or have a fix?

mmh..i didn't notice anything like that. Did you set the correct values in ~./cedegarc or what the file is named?

Yep they are all set correctly, also I have since found this thread which suggests further it is a driver issue:
