Hello all,
I miss since 2 days my /dev/sda1 drive, which I used to mount my usb-stick. Can anybody tell me how and why that happened?
The only thing I did was configure my wireless-card.
Best regards,

when you plug in your usb stick, what does it say when you type
It'll show you last 10 lines of dmesg output...
if the info listed doesn't suffice, trying reading more lines by adding n #_of_lines
for eg. to read last 20 lines of dmesg
type
Whatever is output, should give you enough debuggin info to troubleshoot your usb stick problem _________________ All your Gentoo are belong to us. |

ok, now I found out that this problem just appears at certain usb-ports. There is one, where the usb-stick works without problems and another port where nothing happens. |
