Hi,
i can't get my clock to sync correctly. every time i boot i get a whacky time. i added ntp-client to the default runlevel but i keep getting an error when i try to start it.
Code: |
* Setting clock via the NTP client 'ntpdate' ...
/etc/init.d/ntp-client: line 34: 7400 Killed ${NTPCLIENT_CMD} ${NTPCLIENT_OPTS} >/dev/null
* Failed to set clock [ !! ]

What version of ntp are you running? It looks like your ntp-client init script might be screwed up. I would try upgrade or reemerge ntp and see if that helps. |

And if problem is solved, you should add [SOLVED] to topic, and also show steps how you solved the issue... |
