I am running 2.6.16-r9 gentoo-sources and can't seem to get support for my SATA drives.
The libata kernel module seems essential to any other sata modules, however I can't seem to find where in the kernel config to compile this module.
Can someone please show me where I enable this in the kernel config?
Thanks. _________________ "...classes will dull your mind; destroy the opportunity for orginal creativity." |

Well I figured it out. For anyone wondering here it is:
Device Drivers -->
SCSI device support -->
SCSI low-level drivers -->
Serial ATA (SATA) support
And under there you can include your hardware's specific drivers.
Hope it helps someone else out there! _________________ "...classes will dull your mind; destroy the opportunity for orginal creativity." |
