Friends can any on tell me how to block the yahoo messenger in the squid firewall.

umm... squid's a proxy, not a firewall...

however from a 2 second web search;

# Yahoo Messenger uses the following ports:
# 5000 (TCP - Chat)
# 5001 (TCP - Chat)
# 5055 (UDP - Phone)
# 5100 (TCP - Webcam*)

so block these ports
