I have an HP OfficeJet 6110. I installed the HPLIP driver. Printing works fine but i have problems with the scanner. I don't know how to install it with sane-find-scanner it tells that there is a scanner but that it may be not supported. With scanimage -l it tells that there is no device. I have nothing configured for the scanner I only installed the software. I think I have to tell sane which backend it should use but I don't know how this works. Is there any how to for it? I googled for this but i didn't find anything.

I found out now how to manage this. There is a file /etc/sane.d/dll.conf. In this file I had to uncomment the line hpaio.
