How do you know if the newer kernels that are released are 64 bit or not.
Is there a spec someplace on them.
I ask because I tried to install 2.6.14.2 on my x86 machine which has a regular athlon and it wouldn't run.
when I went back to 2.6.10-r1 everything was fine.
I checked the config and everything seemed ok.
