If I only knew that getting mplayer to work in framebuffer was the addition of a mere USE flag sooner. I got it all working but I cant get it to play with a proper ratio. I run mplayer and it plays in 1x zoom view which makes it far to small. If I run it with:
Code: | mplayer -vo fbdev -vf scale=1280:1024 |
Then the movie does scale but it fills my entire screen (4:3) despite the movie being 16:9. Does anyone know how to get the movie to scale to fit the screen without altering the aspect ratio? _________________ You're not afraid of the dark are you?

This should do it: Code: | mplayer -vo fbdev -fs -vf scale=1280:-2 |
