Hey everyone,
I was just plugged into my router (by cable) and then activated the wireless before removing the cable (ifplugd was running).
My wireless network connected (i saw my KDE applet showing me), but the internet was not working until I unplugged the
cable. Why is this? Can it be fixed? I know it works under Windows.
Thanks! _________________ iMac G4 1GHz :: q6600 //2x 500GB//2GB RAM//8600GT//Gentoo :: MacBook Pro//2.53GHz |

When your internet works, post the output of the following sequence of commands:
Code: | ifconfig -a; route -n; cat /etc/resolv.conf |
Then when your internet does not work, do the same, for comparison. _________________ "Mr Thomas Edison has been up on the two previous nights discovering 'a bug' in his phonograph." --Pall Mall Gazette (1889)
