Hi,
since several days, timidity crashes on startup. artsd doesn't work too after kde login.

I had several problems too, and finally I threw arts away since with the new alsa drivers and the 2.6.14 kernel you can use the alsa driver directly, even with the alsa-oss module. Dor me it works fine since...
Make a search in the forum / documentation, you'll find instructions on how to get rid of arts (needs quite some packages to be recompiled). |

arts is not my problem.
timidiy crashes on startup, that's my problem. If I restart the service later, it works without problems.
that's what I want to fix |
