Hi,
I have 2 Gnome questions (have just switched over from kde, I like the gnome look and feel):
1. How do I add a cups printer in gnome ? In kde it's easy, in the kcontrol panel... But in gnome, how ?
2. How do I check and manage the printer queue ?
Please don't tell me it isn't possible in gnome, how many years have they been developping it, we are 3 years past year 2000, aren't we ?
It always amazes me how basic things are missing (won't even talk about the open/save file dialog)...
Thanks for your help !
P.S.: I could probably do it by hand in the text files, but I don't have half an hour or one hour to go through docs and man pages to do a basic thing. Would be easier to go back and do it from KDE. But I'd like to do it from Gnome, if I am going to use it. |
