strange canon i560

hey there!

i got a strange problem with my canon i560 printer.

i installed the drivers from canon.jp as shown in this tutorial.

i set up my cups correctly (at least i hope so). the printer was proposed at parallel port 1
at install so there should be no problem.

BUT! when i try to print something, there is .... nothing.
cups tells me the job was done. but the printer does nothing. neither works the

I have the same problem but with usb!
I worked this printer with the canon s800 driver!
