Hi,
I have hauppauge win-tv2 card in my computer and i can't get it work.
There is no /dev/video0 or /dev/v4l either. My mainboard is msi kt3 ultra (via kt 333 based)
These are my kernel settings:
<*> I2C support
<*> I2C device interface
I2C Algorithms --->
<*> I2C bit-banging interfaces
I2C Hardware Bus support --->
<*> VIA 82C596/82C686/823x
<M> Video For Linux
Video For Linux --->
<M> BT848 Video For Linux
modules ivtv, bttv and videodev are loaded during the boot

can you post the output of dmesg ¦ grep ivtv? i am unfamiliar with that particular card, but is it even supported by the ivtv driver? |

I got it working now. I thought that card was wintv 2 card but actually it was wintv go card and it needs (like no other hauppauge card) module cx8800. _________________ Google is my friend. |
