|
|
I've succesfully setup qmail with vpopmail and courier-imap using the guide found in the gentoo-docs.
I've only got one problem now:
I can't access smtp from outside my router. I can use telnet to access both pop3 and imap (using ports 995 and 993) but when I try on port 25 nothing happens, no connection refused or anything like that. It prints "Trying [ip]" and then I get a timeout.
I've double-checked that my router forwards the ports.
My domain is a dyndns domain, I don't know if that could have anything to do with it... |

Do you see anything in your log files?
I wonder if someone upstream might be filtering 25. |

I spoke with a friend yesterday and it seems like they are blocking smtp-services...
I guess I'll have to wait a couple of weeks until we switch our provider. |
