Directly after running an emerge update another emerge update gives me:
Quote:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[ebuild UD] media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20051120 [0.4.9_p20051216]
[ebuild UD] media-libs/cal3d-0.10.0 [0.11.0_pre20050823]

Then directly after downgrading both packages another emerge update gives:
Quote:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[ebuild U ] media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20051216 [0.4.9_p20051120]
[ebuild U ] media-libs/cal3d-0.11.0_pre20050823 [0.10.0]

Running emerge update again, emerge tries to downgrade again. So there is no end updating my world :o

Can anyone give me a hint, please?

Hi and welcome to the forums.

This kind of loops usually mean that you have a package A that depends on packages B, C, etc, which have a more recent version than the one package A supports. Therefore, when you try to update your system and it finds there is a newer version of B, C, etc, it will try to update them to the latest version. When you try to update your system again, it sees that package A requires a previous version of B, C, etc, and it will downgrade them.
