Just a quick question on upgrading (or downgrading a kernel). I think I get it, but I cannot test it out yet, as I am work, and thought I would post my question now, so that perhaps in can be answered in case I need it later.
I'm running AMD64 2.6.14-r2, and am having some problems with I2C, so it has been mentioned that I may need to downgrade to 2.6.13-r5. I'm not going to do it just yet, still need to check my work a little. When I look at the database, I see that 2.6.14-r5 is also marked (+) for AMD64. My question is, when I emerge gentoo-sources, I assume that it will look for the most current stable version to install (being 2.6.14-r5), right? Now, if I need to do the 2.6.13-r5, how would I go about emerging that version instead?
