|
|
I've just recently started having this problem, but it is definitely consistent. Once the machine is booted, and I log into XFCE, the time is wrong. I change the time to the correct time. Next time I boot (only on a cold boot) the time is wrong again. I have my machine set to local time, and set to save changes to the hardware clock. It worked perfectly up until about a week ago.
It doesn't seem to be the RTC battery, because the time is correct in the BIOS before booting. I've even set it correctly in the BIOS, and then booted and then it is wrong. The amount that it is off by seems to be sporadic, but always behind. Sometimes it's only 2-5 minutes behind, sometimes it's up to 1.5 hours off.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks a bunch, that seems to have done the trick.
What exactly does that file do anyways? _________________ :-/ |
