[risolto] problema con webcam!!!

ciao a tutti

ho un problema con la mia webcam.

Ho installato i driver spca5xx (giusti per la mia webcam) e tutto è andato nei migliori dei modi fino a quando digito il comando spcaview per avviare l'anteprima....

il messaggio di errore è il seguente:

Occhio che spesso i driver spca5 si appoggiano poi ad altri driver, controlla di aver caricato anche il driver di appoggiio.

io ho letto che il pacchetto spca5xx contiente i driver necessari. La mia web ha un chipset zc0301 e i driver per farla funzionare sono all'interno del pacchetto spca5xx.

se sai come fare pf aspetto risposta.

Sinceramente non ho idea di quale driver di appoggio possa usare. Dai un lsmod e un lsusb e posta i risultati

Mi sembra ci voglia un driver di supporto (mi pare, eh) che si chiama zc0301, dovrebbe stare nel kernel.

per me non aveva abilitato v4l nel kernel

senti un favore, visto che ho quasi la tua stessa webcam, puoi provare a fare una videochiamata via msn? perchè a me la web funziona e pure l'anteprima, ma msn mi dà un errore di routing anche quando non ho firewall.

domanda 2: installando i tuoi stessi driver se faccio partire il modulo spca5xx il led della webcam rimane acceso fino a quando non faccio partire l'anteprima e poi quando blocco si spegne. ti fa lo stesso?

io purtroppo non sono ancora riuscito a farla andare...devo installare probabilmente i driver epcam ma non riesco ad applicare la patch al kernel.
