Quick question about Thunderbird (or Evolution for that matter). Is there anyway to be able to be able to see thumbnails of files while I am selecting them for attachment? I'm noticing that the window theme is for that of Gnome, when I open the attachment selector, which leads me to believe that it's setting (if one exists) for Gnome, but I could be wrong. Currently, I have to know exactly what the image is, as the files (mostly pictures) are labeled the typical, PIC0078, PIC0079... It would be nice to be able to see them as thumbnails, but for the life of me I cannot find a way to do it. Any help would be appreciated |

Standard Thunderbird doesn't support this. Not sure about Evolution or if there's a skin/extension for Thunderbird which will accomplish this. |

Instead of clicking the attach button on evolution, why don't you drag-drop the files from nautilus to your new mail window on evolution? You can see the files as thumbnails in nautilus.
Not sure if this is possible with thunderbird. |

Thunderbird does support drag-and-drop from nautilus (I'm using TB 1.5-r1). Drag them to the address area and an attachment target will appear. Once attached, you can right-click and open an image with eog. But no icons. |

I saw somewhere on this forum a thread where there was a thing you could do to replace all the open/save dialogs of gtk programs with kde. |
