I really don't like how GNOME uses su to acquire privileges. I'm working on building a secured system, and I don't want to give out the root password. Can GNOME be reconfigured to use sudo instead? |

Ah, I found gksu. From the name, I didn't think that it would use sudo. I emerged it; does it need any configuration, or the removal of gnomesu? |

I use xsu2 (also gtk+2) because if if I place a application that needs root in my Gnome menu I just want a password entry and no other input fields. xsu -e hides the user name and command textboxes. |
