Here's something, suprisingly, I've never tried on Linux at all, ever!
I wanna create a compilation CD from other CDs (not rip lower-quality files like mp3, ogg, etc.)...what should I use to do this? |

never did so in linux, but when i used windoze i used nero, i think (long time ago). i guess it also had ripped it to mp3
why don´t you use a lossless codec as flac for ripping, or wav, and then burn it just as audio cd? |

cdda2wav lets you rip audio CDs into wav files. _________________ python>>> q="'";s='q="%c";s=%c%s%c;print s%%(q,q,s,q)';print s%(q,q,s,q)

Yeah...I stumbled around and figured as much. I'm ripping wav's w/ Grip and making my compilation in Graveman...which has a nice interface for Audio CD creation.
Thanks! |
