This is an annoyance. When I'm working in a deep folder, the bash prompt will "cut off" after around 10 typed characters and scroll to the start of the same line. It garbles the text horribly, but it still inputs fine.
Attached is a picture of this behaviour as an example:
Clicky
Its kinda annoying, to say the least! I've tried changing my prompt in case by some bizzare that was at fault. I've checked all my bash-related config files and there's nothing limiting the length of line there.
I've found this behaviour in all virtual terminals I've tried so far: xterm, urxvt and gnome-terminal. So its a bash promblem. A search of Google and these forums didn't turn up anything, so... _________________ photography - geekery

First remove all the ASCII stuff from your prompt; 10 to 1 that is what caused it. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
