It would be nice to see SubEthaEdit clones with linux platform clients available in portage. Here are a few resources I've stumbled across:

Gobby has ebuilds available, and there was also another client called Moon something I think, but it didn't work
very well when I tried it. |

yes, I didn't like it much either.
