Do you recommend me to install antivirus in Gentoo? Why? My PC going to be much slower but more secure with antivirus?

I usually install one. Set a cronjob and have it report to me by mail in case of a virus. |

At the moment a virus scanner on linux is pretty much only to protect Windows _________________

I haven't bothered with anti-virus yet, the only reason is to protect Windows clients. |

Exactly, if you run a mailserver or something and have windows clients, a virus scanner might be a good idea. |
