PPC Live CD minimun requirements (Old World)

I've got an "oldworld" PowerComputer PowerWave 133 that got swept up in my gentoo installing spree. But last time I left it I only had OS 7.5.3 installed and not much else.

Someone help me out here, because all of these guides and FAQs seem to be written for the "I've got a shiny silver G4 tower" crowd.

What software do I need to hunt down to use the Live CD?

Does Live ver 1.4 R3 even WORK on oldworld macs?

What does my system need to look like before I start?

Keep in mind, I've got Mac OS 7.5.3 and maybe SimpleText, nothing else at all.
